Sandor Lubbe

Sandor Lubbe, born in 1962 in Holland. Currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
In 1990 Sandor Lubbe started as Founder, Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director of the Dutch Art View magazine, a publication on design, advertising, corporate identity and photography.
Since 2003 Sandor Lubbe is the Founder, Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director of Zoo Magazine, a globally-oriented quarterly style title for women and men, focusing on German and English readers.
Zoo magazine is an inspirational platform that targets photography, art, fashion and everything to do with it, such as music, cinema, interior design and architecture.
The intelligent and cutting-edge approach of Zoo sets the magazine apart from the mainstream, highlighting avant-gardist personalities and themes in an extraordinary, eccentric way. New photographic talent is nurtured within the concept of Zoo Magazine, soon to become tomorrow’s stars.

In 2007 Sandor Lubbe started his career as photographer. His editorial shoots include Zoo Magazine, Sang Bleu and L’Officiel amongst others.
The list of celebrities that Lubbe has portrayed stretches from actresses such as Diane Kruger, Joana Preiss and Delphine Chanéac to cutting edge musicians like Dez Mona, Peaches, Cobra Killer, Headman and Jay Brannan, as well as athletes as Lasse Virén.
Models include Marloes Horst and Sophie Vlaming.

November 14th until December 24th, 2009 Sandor Lubbe has his first solo exposition at Steltman Galleries Amsterdam, the Netherlands, entitled ‘Foto’s’ (Photos).
